Am I a "negative" person when I say that I am not interested in this kind of gigs anymore ? Excuses in advance for the people who enjoy this kind of shows...

The point is I am not a TCB band fan, I am not a Bouke fan, I am not a Viva Elvis fan, I am not a Elvis Forever 75 fan, I am not The Imperials fan, etc, etc. I am an ELVIS fan ! I am just tired of all those people, singers, bands and shows that so called "promote" the legacy of Elvis...I use to get excited to see a show of for example the TCB band but I am way over that..It's getting too much lately..Nowadays I wouldn't even go to a TCB band show when they would show up in my own town..I have nothing against those people personally though..

Totally agree Ton, I've seen this people many times in the past, and i dont care for them anymore. I cannot image why fans are so thrilled to see them. Indeed, i'm an Elvis fan, don't care for the others.

Well, Ton and Shakingruud. You can not understand why people are getting so thrilled! And you don't care for them anymore! I am a little bit shocked. The TCB band, The Imperials, The Stamps and Conductor Joe Gurcio with some original musicians, are giving to all the fans around the world the feeling of a real Elvis Concert. It is the sound, to hear the 2001 Theme live, it is the whole atmosphere in the arena. The whole band is writing history. In 20 or 30 years, nobody will have the chance to get this feeling live anymore. I saw the show over 5 times. And I think it is really exciting. So give all the people around the world the chance, to do so. Nothing against you both. Only my opinion. So "Elvis in Concert" and "Forever".

Hi Bob! I wasn't talking about the IN CONCERT shows, where , at least, you see Elvis himself!! That, ofcourse is a big thrill! I was only talking about the show with band members and impersanators or anything like that. Thats not my cup of tea, cause as an Elvis fan, i want to see and hear the king ;-)

No problem, Bob. To each his own.

It is nice to read that the TCB band still continue to tour the world. Many fans never had the experience of watching them perform the great Elvis songs live. I for one only had the opportunity to attend a few years back, though being an Elvis fan for over 4 decades. But I do understand the sentiment of TonBruins and ShakingRuud. I too (in exactly the same way as Ruud) am an ELVIS fan and I am also weary of the things that are promoted now. If the TCB band would perform in the next town I would go, unless there is a singer who pretends to be like Elvis and tries to steal the show by immitating and pretending to have a voice like the King himself. Listen to the whole repertoire of them and you know it is fake. I am looking forward though to my next Elvis In Concert thrill - yes to see and hear that man again, The King.
