Released in Europe from the Payless label are two budget CD + DVD sets. The first one, entitled "Elvis Essential" is a 2 CD + DVD set containing 50's songs and interviews with as bonus the DVD "The story of Elvis Presley".
The second one "Elvis & Friends" is a 2 CD + DVD set with rock and roll songs and as a bonus the DVD "Sun Days With Elvis / Elvis Presley's America".
These sets were previously available in Australia.

You are right MysteryRider: "essential" is the word that is often used by those gurus at BMG-DK and on Madison Ave NY NY (strategic marketing dept they dare to call it. they know better tahn anyone else what sells by the millions. this one might be the exception, just kiddin'). It is about time those folks listen to real marketeers and successful businessmen who know what EP fans really want to spend their money on...

Yippee Yi Yo Yippee Yi Yay and the next, after 200 gospels, greatest hits, 2001 xmas cd`s...etc you get "the duets cd with elvis. what next: all songs begins with an "A" on one cd , or maybe all songs begins with "well" [well,well, well] maybe the next cd is "elvis" elvis sings songs". Elvis sells, maybe that`s a great title
