The writers of the Guinness Book of World Records informed Joseph Pirzada that the UK based Memphis Recording Service CD Single release of "My Baby Left Me", released August 2007 only through HMV Stores is to enter into the 2009 Edition of Guinness Book of World Records. It took nearly 52 years from the time it was recorded, to be a hit. This is the longest time it took for a track to become a hit. The MRS single release of "My Baby Left Me" entered the UK Top 40 chart at #19 and has since sold over 20,000 copies

The Guinness Book Of Records has never been kind to Elvis for over 20 years.Check it out, see how many times they mention Elvis, hardly any.Not worth the paper its printed on.It was them that gave an award to Michael Jackson for being 'Artist Of The Century'.What a joke!!!

What a joke. For a man of ELVIS' stature to be discarded like he is, shows the doubious character of the book. Their lack of acknowledgement is on its own already a record to be registered by them! So I would not give a guinea for this book. Hey, maybe that's a record too?
