Channel 4 ran the results on TV of the 100 greatest musicals of all time as voted for by the British Public.
There was some interesting voting in the 100 but the top five were pretty much as expected and predicted. Elvis' only entry was at number 63 with "Jailhouse Rock". "Blue Hawaii" was also nominated but failed to chart. Elvis was paid fine compliments for his acting ability in his early films.
