Midweek Chart Update

The re-issue single "King Creole" is currently in the Top 5 on the midweek chart updates. The "Elvis The King" compilation is back into the Top 25 best selling albums again.

Elvis has three entries on the UK Music DVD Top 20 Chart; "The 68 Comeback Special" moves up from #6 to #5. "Aloha From Hawaii" moves up from #16 to #13 and "Destination Vegas" drops from #12 to #19.

Further Midweek Update (3rd). 'King Creole' now Top 10. 'Hard Headed Woman' - Still Top 75. 'Elvis The King' compilation now Top 20.

to Mr B. Quinn; your info are always welcome. Could you tell us how many weeks is Elvis currently missing to catch up with the Fab Four, and then Queen, in the UK album chart. Thank you. Let's hope The King will maintain its position back in the top 20.

Theanks for the comments Jean. I do my best. I also hope that 'The King' album will maintain its current midweek Top 20 position. Actually, Elvis overtook The Beatles three weeks ago for the amount of weekly points gained on the UK Album Charts. The Beatles are on 110 weeks and Elvis 113. I do not know the exact number of weeks for Queen but it is roughly 140.

Final Midweek Update (5th). 'Elvis The King' - around the No.20 position. Last week the album sold 7480 copies. 'King Creole' - around the No.10 position. Last week 'Hard Headed Woman' sold 9006 copies.
