Mark James, author of Suspicious Minds, Always On My Mind and Moody Blue (among others) will be inducted in the Songwriters Hall of Fame this year.

In August 1984, Mark James introduced "My Blue Suede Heaven". Prior to Mark coming on stage, I was expecting that Elvis was going to emerge from the shadows, "The next thing on our program will blow you away".
