These magazines arrived at our headquarters more or less recently (thanks to the Dutch post!).

The Man And His Music

The Man And His Music #90

By many regarded to be the best magazine around - and rightfully so! This 90th issue brings an interview with Liliane Montevecchi (King Creole), a series of rare covers and a closer look on the 1964 and 1965 releases. Of course the regulars are present too.

Flaming Star

Flaming Star #62

The Norwegian Flaming Star must be one of the most beautiful magazines.Number 62 brings an interview with Joe Esposito and an article on Elvis and Cliff Richard (who turned 70 recently). There's also an article on Elvis' fashion in 1977 besides all regulars.

For me the best Elvis Magazine by far is 'Essential Elvis'.

I think Essential Elvis is an excellent publication and one which I'm sorry to say I only subscribed to earlier this year rather than many years ago. For me however ETMAHM is outstanding and has consistently delivered great articles, reviews etc over many years. I've never tried Flaming Star and probably should. It's good to support quality publications

We all know how accurate your posts are, Brian. When is the Viva version of 'Suspicious Minds' going to No.1 and going to be Elvis' most important record since he died?

The Man & His Music Rules. They actually state when an Elvis release is not great and a product is a waste of money. Their interviews are great and their pictures top quality. Its the first magazine devoted to Elvis that has been honest in all their reviews , a refreshing change form days of yore(remember when Elvis Monthly praised each new Elvis release?) The best around.

To knock Brian Quinn in such a way is pathetic. Brian is always a good source of information and adds to the various debates, while certain people add nothing.
