February 10, 2004 | Other
Elvis's screen worn shirt from the 1957 film Loving You is now available in R&R's February auction. This long sleeved shirt is made by Mansfield and bears a Paramount tag on which is handwritten Elvis's character name, Deke Rivers. Other marks of provenance include a sewn-in label identifying the shirt as "number 101212 E. Presley 1/57," a Paramount Studios wardrobe stamp, and a Paramount studios red laundry tag.

Elvis can be seen wearing the shirt in several film scenes including the popular dance sequence "Got A Lot O'Livin' To Do".

This fantastic Elvis collectible is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Concerts West Inc.'s Tom Hulett who promoted Presley's tours from 1971 - 1977. The matching jacket to this garment was sold by R&R in their October 2002 auction. (Go to the R&R website and search by item number 1204).
