Line Up NBC Tribute

A huge roster of stars will to take on some of Elvis Presley's most beloved songs on NBC's upcoming Elvis All-Star Tribute, as the network announced on Tuesday (Jan. 8).

The Feb. 17 two-hour prime-time event -- a tribute to the rock icon's legendary '68 Comeback Special -- will be hosted by Blake Shelton and feature performances from Kelsea Ballerini, Ed Sheeran, Dierks Bentley, Alessia Cara, John Legend, Little Big Town, Jennifer Lopez, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, Pistol Annies, Darius Rucker, Yolanda Adams, Mac Davis, John Fogerty, Josh Groban, Adam Lambert, Shelton, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. 

The tribute, produced by Ken Ehrlich for AEG Ehrlich Ventures, LLC,  will recreate the 1968 special and feature rare footage and interviews with wife Priscilla Presley, the original special's director, Steve Binder, as well as a special appearance from daughter Lisa Marie Presley, according to a release announcing the show.

An accompanying album, The Best of the '68 Comeback Special, will be released on Feb. 15 on RCA/Legacy Recordings, including the Elvis recordings and performances that inspired the special as well as the new version of "If I Can Dream." The 15-track album of remastered performances will feature the "stand up" and "sit down" portions of the original '68 special, plus three original studio recordings of songs that appear in the NBC special.

Bonus Tracks -- "A Little Less Conversation" and "Suspicious Minds" are listed as RCA Victor singles, which makes me wonder if they will be in MONO just as the original singles were?
