Julie Adams Died

Julie Adams, Elvis' "Tickle Me" co-star, died Sunday, February 3. Julie became a movie star in the 1950s, when she starred as Kay Lawrence in the classic sci-fi film "Creature from the Black Lagoon." She starred alongside many of Hollywood's leading men, including James Stewart in "Bend the River," Rock Hudson in "The Lawless Breed," Glenn Ford in "The Man from the Alamo" and Charleston Heston in "The Private War of Major Benson." 

Julie starred as Vera Radford in "Tickle Me" with Elvis in 1965. She also worked in television, appearing on episodes of "The Andy Griffith Show," "Perry Mason" and "The Rifleman." She starred as Jimmy Stewart's wife on "The Jimmy Stewart Show" and had a recurring role on "Murder, She Wrote."
