John C. Harris Died

Film producer John C. Harris died in his sleep at Tripler Army Medical Center on July 20. He was 85. He had a hand in the movie "Blue Hawaii," starring Elvis Presley.

He received the Harrison Carroll Achievement Award in 1971 for the John Carr film "The Star Maker," starring Wendel Corey and featuring Barbara Valentin and Troy Cory, who became German film and TV personalities.
