January 19, 2004 | Other
The Belgian Elvis Fan Club Elvismatters presents a worldwide scoop on Saturday, May 15th. Joe Guercio, the famous conductor of the Elvis Presley / Joe Guercio Orchestra, has agreed to conduct a 75-piece orchestra in the VITO-showroom in Mol, Belgium. Lead vocalist is Jenson Bloomer, lead guitarist is Tony Smith (from Jenson's band Mondo Carne). “We want to recreate the Elvis-sound of the seventies”, Guercio says, “A rocking show, with the full Vegas sound.” It goes without saying that track list of that evening consists of very powerful Elvissongs, such as “Bridge Over Troubled Water”, “Polk Salad Annie” and “American Trilogy”.

Tickets for this very special Elvis Tribute event with Joe Guercio (& the Concert Band of Rauw) are 17 and 27 euro. Before the show, Joe Guercio answers questions on stage. After the show, he’s available for autographs and pictures.

See out eventspage for the details and tickets.
