Jerry Schilling Receives Brass Note

Jerry Schilling received a Brass Note on Beale Street. He received the award on Sunday, September 30, 2007. Jerry is a native of Memphis. He is also a veteran music industry professional. Officials say Schilling was recognized for his contributions and making Memphis music sound among the most popular around the world. Jerry Schilling managed The Beach Boys and Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie. He also wrote the book, Me and a Guy Named Elvis: My Lifelong Friendship with Elvis Presley.
