This is junk. The same old junk. It looks like crap and sounds like crap. The worst job Kevan Budd ever done. Totally flat and unnatural sound. The same tracks on the CLOSE UP box-set sound sooo much better! No more vinyl rubbish, please. Enough is enough. No more repackaged 50+ years old crap!

The Jailhouse Rock soundtrack crap? Maybe you're waiting for the "Easy Come, Easy Go" vinyl release...

I'll stick with the original vinyl EP soundtrack & Inside Jailhouse Rock book. I thought we weren't suposed to reply to each other's mail's ? or does that only appy to me !

Deke, that is only the thing with reactions on the song of the day!! Not with news or articles!!

Fly-Trouble if you don't like it that's your opinion but some of us here like the vinyl issues. I don't know what you were listening to unless you just wanted to be critical you are not forced to buy this.

benny scott....point taken regarding fly's boring comment and respect to fellows fans who treat this site as it should be....i too hope FTD release more vinyl but wish they had done this earlier in the series as there are some beauties that would of gone down very well on a vinyl release......for me FTD have done what they set out to do and produce a high class product for the collectors or casual buyer.

Amen to that drjohncarpenter ! Me too wished FTD had started earlier with vinyl , but always supported FTD and will do so in the future.Always El.

Fly-Trouble - grow up. If you compare Kevan Budd's work on the FTD CD / LP to the same tracks on 'Close Up' you'll hear that Kevan has restored dialogue that was missing from the same recordings on 'Close Up'! The sound quality Kevan has achieved is the best these JR tracks have ever been issued in. I guess you must have cloth ears.

Guys, please respect. I like also this vinyl version. But the vinyl sounds not as the vinyl from the 50,60'or 70's. it doesn't matter who's mastered the tracks. It's depends on the quality from the vinyl.
