WOW... the cover looks great on this one !!! And the show being a soundboard, it's definitely a must have !! Does the title have any connection with Neil Diamond's Hot August Night ? 'Cause if i remember correctly, Neil has a live album recorded in 1972, in August, called... guess what... Hot August Night... lol..

This is the most beautiful cd front-cover i have ever seen! Finally we have got another great soundboard from the early 70's. Not that i don't like the later ones, but it's always great to hear Elvis in top-form. According to various soundboard-lists,this is the last unreleased soundboard from this aug./sept. '72 Vegas season,we won't get more. So don't hesitate,go and buy it while you can!!!

Yes, Dorulet, it's an obvious reference to Neil Diamond's popular "Hot August Night" LP. It is a beaut, isn't it, FLY-TROUBLE? That's a hell of a cover. I wish he had done more with those two-piece suits as opposed to all jumpsuits, all the time. Madison, like Straight Arrow, Southern Comfort, Audionics and maybe one or two more, have become the cream of the crop of the import world, even often showing up FTD when it comes to packaging, liner notes, etc. It's an automatic "must-have." I look forward to mine !

Fly-Trouble - "The most beautiful front cover you've ever seen?" Come on! It's okay, I suppose, but it reminds me of that scene in 'Spinout' where it looks like he's wearing seven coats / shirts / waistcoats / vests. The design is based on a US RCA single sleeve from the early '70s so it's in keeping with the show. Okay, but not "the most beautiful" cover I've ever seen.

I´m sure this is a great show. But I really don´t like the songlist. It´s like a copy from the show in New York earlier that summer. And the songs in this show that wasn´t performed in NY, was performed in Hawaii for the upcoming TV special. Looks to me that Elvis was bored.

This is a great set-list and in 1972 he still wasn't bored. Never Been To Spain,Until It's Time For You To Go,What Now My Love,Fever,For The Good Times,My Way,An American Trilogy and A Big Hunk 'O Love were all newly introduced songs (in january, april and august 1972). The set-list of this show is quite different from the set-list of the MSG shows. Looks to me that YOU ARE bored,JLpResLey.

It think the cover is a fairly obvious tribute to the cover of the Separate Ways/Always On My Mind single...

Yes,it is. And? The new FTD (Wild In The Country) has also a similar cover to Blue Hawaii...
