Just got my copy, and the sound is very good, the binaural takes sound better in mono to my humble opinion.

It's funny to read the bootleggers' conversation about their own product. But please don't pretend that you still don't have this CD. You all have it for weeks already, because you are the producers. "Hear Elvis-fakes In Glorious Mono". Another release from the Netherlands... and this time a crappy one. $$$$$ By the way,the cover doesn't look good. It's dated and average at best. There were much better covers even in the 80's (Essential Elvis series,Greatest Hits vol.1.,Elvis Forever 32 Hits,The Number One Hits etc.) Though for a home-made CD it's O.K.

Hi Snowman, Don't know about dunking and cmoneverybody.. but i for one, don't know what you are talking about... the fact i am from Holland, means i made this cd? I wish i did! I guess it is a matter of taste, but this release plays very nice, compared to other compilations which have songs picked randomly, like the Legendary Performer/Tiger Man series.. The covers you talk about.. what on earth have they got to do with this release... covers from the 80's?.. maybe the cover is ment to be dated, since the songs.. well they're not from the 80's ;-)

Nothing new in this bootleg: every take is already available on RCA/BMG/FTD releases.

snowman - in the words of vince - lady i don't know what the hell you're talking about ! i'm an elvis fan from england and i love the 50's especially "is it so strange ?" and believe me that is a great cover - you're talking out of your back-side !

For cover-collectors only... Expensive cover, though. As Marco said, there's nothing new on this CD,all takes were "borrowed" (=stolen) from official BMG/FTD releases. So what's the deal here? Oh,yes: money,money,money... Don't get me wrong,i like better bootleg releases but when i see bootlegs liket this then i'm sad, very sad. I simply can't see the effort here to give something new or better to fans. The cover is not bad,but not good, either. The sound quality definitely won't be better than Kevan Budd's work. Again, what's the deal here?

I'm from The Netherlands, too, still i can't appreciate this cd. Go for the FTD releases (Loving You,Elvis Presley S.E.,50.000.000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong) and forget this crap. This is just a pale imitation of the above mentioned FTD titles.
