Please go out and by this 2-pak Elvis Gospel series. You will then understand the deep connection Elvis had to his roots and why he's still so loved. It will take your soul for a ride and bring you back transformed. I bought these two years ago right after Elvis was inducted into the Gospel Hall Of Fame. There will never be another Elvis. He is forever the greatest star to ever walk this earth. Enjoy!

When I tell you Elvis is at his best in gospel music I would lie because Elvis is at his best in any kind of music. Just listen to the "Elvis Country" album, he is the best in country music...

I agree with that too. He is awesome in Country music also. Real soulfull. The Elvis Country album was one of the first I bought about 30 years ago as a 13 year old, and I still listen to it today. Well; On CD now, although I still have the album in my basement. Enjoy!

This is a very excellent and nice looking CD, I will definately buy it. ELVIS Presley was superb in Gospel music. Maybe because it's his first love in music and he sings it with all his heart and soul and mind. Of-course he's brilliantly good in Country too. ELVIS COUNTRY was a superb album.

eagleone, Not everything that is released is for those of us who already have the other CDs. There is a whole new generation out there which is just beginning into Elvis and collecting his music.

Elvis' vocals on these gospel sessions and performances were and still are truly amazing.

A great set but, In The Ghetto, Bridge Over Troubled Water and American Trilogy in a Gospel compilation! Who the hell puts these things together?

I agree with the comment from Old Shep, these three songs may be considered inspirational, but they are hardly Gospel songs. Great cover photo.
