How in the world could you buy/listen to that sh*t?

One of Col Parker's lame brained releases in the 70's. RCA should have never agreed to put this out. They were really starving for new Elvis product in 1974. An embarrasment to the catlaog.

How terribly sad. Another example of the Colonel's exploitation of Elvis under any circumstances.

And even more sadder is that he allowed it!

mature - I'm not sure Elvis even knew. I bet the colonel did this on his own after seeing it sell on the Boxcar label at his shows. Remember Elvis didnt know about one of the Camden LPs Hits From His Movies Movies Vol 2 I think it was.

No, Elvis didn't know about most of it since it was released after his death. He knew the shows were being recorded but he was not aware that all of the "material" would be used. Colonel released all of it after his death.

Ruthie I remember buying Having Fun On Stage with Elvis in 1975, Elvis was very much alive and of course he knew about the release, infact I've heard him refer to it (in a negative way) on an audience live recording. Colonel realsed it first on Boxcar, RCA released it later. It was a way for Elvis to recieve monies after the 1973 deal as of course he didn't sell off his talking voice. "All about the same size"

The Colnel's Unlimited legacy continues in an Unlimited way. "Gimme your cash, folks!"

Actually, I did buy "Having Fun" on vinyl when it was originally released in 75?. I still have it. I later bought a CD version.

They look very nice, but how could they have been "remixed" when the material is sourced from low-fi, mono soundboards!?
