In today's Sun Newspaper in UK, there is a full page article, where Elvis's jewel encrusted white jumpsuits have been voted the greatest rock outfit of all time, beating Kylie Minoque's golden hot=pants.. The poll was conducted by Woolworths and had 14,000 entries.

Great concert photo of Elvis as well. Not one I've seen before. Looks about the 75 / 76 era, and Elvis is in pretty good shape. Everyone in the UK buy the Sun !

Awful picture to present to the general public. I agree that an Aloha picture should have been used. I'd also like to have seen the black leather 68 suit in the list.

I agree, I dont like that picture either. By all means, its a good picture from 76, but to the general audience will not notice he looks better than usual from that year, they only notice he's fat and unhealthy looking. As he undoubtly was, this late. But I guess we should be happy they didnt pick an even worse image. :-) Also, I'm really surprised that Sun didnt use an aloha picture, as it seems the general press always use images from aloha when they display Elvis from the 70's. Either that, or the famous, remarkably ugly closeup picture from 77.

Read carefully: It says "jewel-encrusted white jumpsuit", so I assume they´re referring to the Aloha suit, not this one, as it´s the most famous Elvis jumpsuit.

I don't like the picture. An early seventies picture would be better. But the Elvis Jumpsuit is the most famous rock outfit of all times. So I think it's great!!
