Graceland Goes Red For Women

February 03, 2007 | Other
Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. is supporting the American Heart Association and the Go Red For Women campaign to raise awareness of issues concerning women and heart disease. From February 2 to February 12, the white lights that illuminate the Graceland Mansion facade will be covered with red gels. The lighting of the facade will help raise awareness of Go Red For Women Day on Feb. 2, a national day with its own dress code for wearing red in your own fashion while raising money for the American Heart Association.

Enjoy the view each each of those nights on the GracelandCam. To update the GracelandCam images, just hit “Refresh.”

Good cause but I disagree with making any changes to to the main body of Graceland at all, even lighting. If it wasn't what Elvis did then it shouldn't be done. I'm sure there are other ways of advertising the cause.
