I got my copy last week and really like it! So much so, that I have put it on the juke box at the bar that I own and some of my regulars are very positively reacting to the unedited "X-rated" version of Stranger in My Own Home Town! Theyre a little shocked and find it hillarious, for this is a side to Elvis theyve never seen or heard and I think it gives Elvis a "down to earth regular guy" kind of impression to them. Its gettin a lot of plays from people that say to others, "you've got to hear this!" Wouldnt it be great to have it on video also?!!!

Yes, similar content to the "Reconsider Baby" album, but with over double the number of tracks. There is obviously a crossover because of the genre of songs contained on both, blues.

Pretty much the same as "Reconsider baby" CD from earlier days (big success in USA then)Needs a BMG re-release PLUS
added bonus songs !!! Looking forward now, after FTD's Guitar Man, now "FTD Stay away Joe" digipack with the remainder of the U.S. Male session + Charro outtakes ! Something for summer this year Mr Jorgensen ?

My opinion is: a bootleg must give us unreleased tracks, so this is crap.

RobIreland, sorry should of been more precise with my www's..........sounds like Jonathan Ross..lol.......normally by putting www i often mean check other Elvis sites etc as you have done by the sounds of it.Anyway if you have'nt got this by now then all i can say is give it your consideration as it is well worth having this in your collection.

I couldn't agree more with Rob, those two tracks usually do get ignored on compilations of this genre.

I really like this compilation ! So good to see the likes of "HardLuck" and "City by Night" in there. Two tracks usualy left off compilations like this. Just wonder what the cover will be like now . ; )
