FTD October 2003

August 31, 2003 | Music
According to "The Man And His Music" the title of the upcoming FTD-release will be "Takin' Tahoe Tonight". The CD will contain a soundboard recording of the Mother's Day Show in Lake Tahoe, May 13, 1973. It was released on several bootlegs too recently, but then as audience recording.

Another FTD release. Another soundboard. FTD has just saved me another thirty bucks.

It would sure be great to have this baby on official record, instead of audience crap bootlegs :-)

I hope it's a good choice. Another Live release should have either a great sound or Elvis is in (extra) great spirit/voice and sings songs he normally didn't sing. I don't wait for antoher release like "Dragon Heart" or "Dinner at Eight". Another idea is to realease a Live CD from one tour and only put on the best performances of that tour; please without songs like "Teddy Bear", "Hound Dog" and other throw-away songs.

Keep the live cd's coming! It's the only way now to expierence the power of Elvis' concerts!!! FTD_44, don't forget the recently released Close Up box...
