Oh no, please not this again. CDR on to a silver CD. It will be the same dribble from this label. Always good to hear shows from '71 but at least make some sort of effort to improve the sound quality for crying out loud!

Totally agree. SR is not famous for soundboards... If the shows are good and the set isn't too expensive I still might buy it.

As far as performance goes, the Boston show from November is outstanding, but the sound quality of the import and official release isn't all that great. The very best quality soundboard from '71 is from 23, February (second disc from "Showroom Internationale"). That show is almost crystal clear, and a great soundboard, but the performance leaves something to be desired. For the most part, Elvis seemed disinterested in performing in Vegas in 1971. The shows were very short, and Elvis sang like he just wanted to get it over with. I'll pass this collection by.

Not a good release, the Tahoe show is quite well known for the more experienced elvis fan. Vegas aug 71 is quite well documented already. The sound is rather sh*tty, like elvis is singing in his bathroom with the door locked... I

They even just copied the fake end of the Tahoe show..it ended in fact with The Impossible Dream which was not recorded after Help Me Make It Through The Night...
