If these really are all the 57 recordings, then new Elvis fans will get the opportunity to get great music, probably to a budget price. Some of them will later find out about FTD and Elvis music will continue to live. I think it's sad that BMG has not updated it's catalogue so that you can get the original recordings in nice packages (if possible close to the originals) to a fair price. If somone else can make a dollar, then it's ok for me. One of the first LP's I bought had Petunia, the gardeners daughter on it. Luckily, Rubberneckin and some other nice songs where on there too and now 25 years later I buy the FTDs, so I don't think that there is a risk that these budget CD's will destroy the "quality image" of Elvis music.
