Follow That Dream Update: 6363 Sunset Boulevard

December 07, 2000 | Music
Ernst Jorgensen informed Elvis Unlimited that the next Follow That Dream release (April 1st , 2001) will be titled "6363 Sunset Boulevard" (the address of RCA Hollywood, where the two sessions on this release took place). The first one is the March 1972 session, and from that one we will get outtakes of "For The Good Times", "Where Do I Go From Here", "Burning Love", "Fool", "Always On My Mind", "It's A Matter Of Time". Besides the outtakes there will be rehearsals from the April 1972 tour: "A Big Hunk O' Love", "Until It's Time For You To Go", "C.C. Rider", "All Shook Up", "Heartbreak Hotel", "Teddy Bear - Don't Be Cruel", "Can't Help Falling In Love".

There will also be a couple of one-liners, including "O How I Love Jesus". BMG also has a very nice version of Young And Beautiful from the March '72 sessions, but this will probably not be used for this FTD CD. It's likely that this performance will be used for the upcoming On Tour project.

The other session is the one for the Today" album of March 1975, with outtakes of "Green Green Grass Of Home", "And I Love You So", "Susan When She tried", "T.R.O.U.B.L.E.", "Shake A Hand" and "Bringing It Back". Please note that Ernst & Co. are still working on this project, so this tracklisting is not yet 100% final. He said that they may add one or two more songs.
