Ernst Jorgensen Interview, E3 Is Coming

October 08, 2003 | People
On the FECC messageboard we read that Ernst Jorgensen did a ten minute telephone interview on the nationally (U.S.) syndicated radio show "The Bob and Tom Show". A couple of highlights:

1. He said that 'many' of the tracks came from 1st generation sources.
2. 'Thats All Right' is from a previous generation tape than what's been used before.
3. He said there will be an E3. His idea seems to be to put out a 25 song CD with lesser known Elvis songs. Great Elvis songs not necessarily known by the public as Elvis songs.

It would be great. Suggestions for the CD: Polk Salad Annie / My Way OR Unchained Melody / I Beg Of You / You´ve Lost That Lovin´ Feelin´ / Runaway / See See Rider / I Can´t Stop Loving You / Trying To Get To You / Blue Moon Of Kentucky / How Great Thou Art (Live Version in 1974) This CD might be great. Here are some suggestions.

E3 and Ernst idea can be great if they advertize it greatly. It will help radio stations show other sides to Elvis, beside the 15 or so songs they have on rotation.. Also, it will allow other radio stations that don't always play Elvis recordings more flexibility, by making programers become more conscious of Elvis's musical ranges... Great idea, but needs alot of Promo-time... Print,, media,, news TV,,etc..etc..
