Engine Lisa-Marie Not Sold As Jewelry

January 24, 2007 | Other
In the series 'remarkable Ebay-auctions', you can bid untill tomorrow on one of the four engines from the Lisa-Marie. After served as a didactical tool in technical schools, the engine was bought by a fan in 2002. His original idea was to dismantel the engine and use the small parts to manufacture some juwelry. That plan was dismissed because of the sellers health and he will sell the item as a complete piece.
Startbid is $65.000, but buyers have to pick-up the item by themself. Less than 24h before the auction ends, there is still no bid, so we think that this item will end in the same lane as the Cadillac and white grand piano.
