Elvis: TTWII - SE Update

Turner Classic Movies has added additional American air dates for the film, the additional dates are (Eastern time):
Sunday, January 21 - 10 PM EST

Saturday, January 27 - 1:00 PM EST

Tuesday, February 6 - 7:30 AM EST

The four bonus songs that aired at the end of each showing on premiere night will not air again. That was a special one-night-only deal.

The video came out in the USA and Canada as scheduled - Tuesday, January 16. The DVD is taking longer to prepare and is expected in early March.


We're still waiting on final info about TCM airings in Europe and elsewhere, which will happen later in the year. The video/DVD release internationally is set for fall. We'll e-newsletter and post more info as we get it. The good news is that the delay on TV/Video/DVD is to accommodate a European theatrical run. EPE is awaiting absolute info directly from Turner/Warner before confirming. As it turns out, for various reasons there won't be a big theatrical release in North America as it now stands. Just the special screenings - for instance, those Graceland has been doing for Elvis Week and EP Birthday.
