Elvis & The Memphis Mafia Gets eBook Release

After yesterday’s news of author Alanna Nash winning the 2012 Charlie Lamb Journalism Award (see below) it is great timing that the long awaited ebook (Kindle) version of the best-selling book, ‘Elvis & The Memphis Mafia’ aka ‘Revelations of the Memphis Mafia’ has now been published and released and is available on Amazon.com.

Billboard magazine reviewed the book stating, 'You don't need to be an Elvis fan to be awed by this book. It is so detailed, gossipy, far-ranging, and coherent that it becomes a clear window on an entire era. The book's genius is in the volume of fresh and flowing information... Alanna Nash is one of the finest, most perceptive chroniclers and appraisers of pop music in America.':

It could be a piece of fiction, i don't know, but the only bodyguard book i ever finished and left feeling inspired was Larry Geller's, 'If i can Dream'. The rest of them are tabloid rubbish. Gordon Stoker once said on a Radio Luxemborg interview, that they were offered loads of dosh to write a book with their years with The King. They wrote a book about a real generous spirit who worked his balls off in the studio and of course the manuscript was rejected becauce they would and could not spice it up.

In a life time one can read a limited number of books, so why should I waste my precious time on reading gossip!
