Elvis -The Concert In Memphis

December 24, 2000 | Other
The August 16 Memphis performance of Elvis-The Concert set for Elvis Week 2001 was expected to be essentially the end of Elvis-The Concert as a regularly touring production, except for some possible special engagements from time to time. However, the producer, the cast and Graceland/EPE have now decided to remain open to tour opportunities after that date at least through the summer of 2002.

EPE is working on making the Elvis Week 2001 presentation extra special for you. Exactly what all that entails is something we'll be working on from now until then. For now we know that soprano Millie Kirkham, who was with our show the first few tours has been invited back for this presentation. Also, we have asked both male backing vocal groups we work with - former Stamps and former Imperials - to be in it. (As you know, we alternate between the two groups when we're on tour.) Tickets for this particular show go on sale January 5, 2001.
