Elvis, The Collection

July 28, 2009 | Music

Sony Music announces the release of the boxset 'The Collection'. The package should contain 7 CDs and retail for an estimate price of €30. At this moment, there is no further info about the content or cover art, so we'll have to wait for what we can expect. The set will come out on September 21, 2009.

Another chance to get us to part with our money? a 7 cd set is not what we need and what i hear is happening to the so-called 30 cd set. Please not another cd set of the first 7 albums, always find it funny that these things are advertised as due out but no mention of concent, cover art etc,but we know it will be the same stuff recycled and nothing new.

I just got this from the o.e.p.f.c. of great britain and it is superb and good value for money!(costing me only £23,plus £3 postage-thats only £26,but its £29 to 30 in the shops)..i think the box is nice and i like the fact that you got all of Elvis' most successful albums in one neat collectable box.(to think that these albums were £12-15 each when they were first released by RCA/BMG on cd,is an even bigger bargain to me!!)I cannot understand some FANS slagging off thseds very clever and value for money collector box??-it's a good start to NEW fans who want to start collecting and it is also good to us die-hard fans as the box will be 'deleted' and hence become "collectable".
