I will surely buy this one, only for the fantastic cover, Elvis was the real cowboy ( hehehe ). But I also like the songs.

I have fond memories of the original release of this album. At the time, budget LP's were a new venture for Elvis and it was akin to the start of the FTD series, a way of getting previously unobtainable material. Hopefully the release of this this LP on CD alongside "Almost In Love" will be just the start of the re-issue programme for all of the budget LP's released during Elvis' lifetime. In the UK, we had quite a few released post-1977, but these held little interest to me.

This was the first Elvis LP i ever bought. Not the one you would necessarily recommend as a first purchase to a novice in the Elvis world, but 'hey' here i am light years later, so it must have done the trick. As fond a memory as i have of this album, not sure of the reasoning behind its release on CD. Just a few years ago they went through a mass deletion of the back catalogue because there was too much duplicated product out there. Seems we have come full circle. Great to see the cover again as mine is gathering dust somewhere in the loft!

I bougt the original on August 17th, 1977, as my Dad felt sorry for me and gave me some extra money...
