July 27, 2011 | Other

Elvis themed restaurants are coming to Eastern and Central Europe! Elvis Presley Enterprises Inc. has licensed the EAD International Group for the project. The restaurants, called "Elvis American Diners," will feature décor inspired by theKing of Rock 'n' Roll. Possible locations include Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Georgia, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Greece, Turkey and Russia.

"Elvis American Diner" is a unique restaurant concept. The artwork, food selections and music will present an American dining experience. Two “Elvis American Diner” restaurants are currently in operation in Georgia. The first is in the National Philharmonic Building on Tbilisi’s Main Avenue and the second is in Tbilisi’s new amusement park. A third is currently under development in that city.

Awesome! I wish though they would put them across America. I remember Elvis Presley's Memphis on BealeStreet in the Lansky building. It was awesome! Food and atmosphere were fantastic. Next time I went to Memphis, it was closed. Real bummer!

Pure Junk food, this kind of food is a Heart attack or a Stroke in the Making. But it tates good. So die with a smile on face and a song on your lips

The best Elvis news I have heard this year. Should prove very profitable for EPE and hopefully gain more fans for THE KING.

jhtelvis - I also remember Elvis Presley's Memphis restaurant on BealeStreet, and it was nice. It's sad that it closed. They made a great Peanut butter and banana sandwich! I still have the menu. This new restaurant looks awesome! TCB

Must be sharp russian businessmen who are ready to invest in creative, lucrative business for the future (as babyboom generation have told their kids what Elvis was like...in their days...a lining legend, he was) Has this concept been worked out before on the Euorpean Continent (like Graceland bars/cafes) ??? I wonder. Great. When will they also open in western europe ? In the USA ?
