Awful cover art and only worth buying if the sound tracks are in stereo which begs the question 'why weren't they released in stereo the first time round?' plus when will we see the other movies on DVD - in stereo and with extra features?

I like these covers, they are bright and catch the eye. Some movies like " GI Blues" were released in 5.1 before.I would have to think that there is no "extras" from the editing floor - or we have would have had them by now, at least for these Paramount movies which have been repackaged n number of times.

Sorry I wanted to add - they could have after all these years got the picture for "King Creole" right -it is reversed and somehow does not convey the mood of the movie. Lastly Elvisnews, you should allow editing of the posts !

Seven of these movies are shown repeatedly on television, and one might think they were the only films Elvis ever made. You're right about the photo for KC - completely misleading about the setting of the movie. This new format is NOT user-friendly - the text box is TOO small and it's difficult to review your entire post. I don't know WHY they would format it this way. And yes, they should allow original posters to be able to edit and delete their own posts.

Thanks for letting us know about the box size, it was a browser problem. It is corrected now. We won't let people edit their contributions for now. If you made a really stupid mistake and want it corrected, you can ask us to do it and otherwise you can easily add comments, like JB Gude did. A good habit on the internet would be "think before you submit" ;-).

ElvisNews: I never said that I made ANY mistake in posting here, much less a "really stupid mistake." I am a firm believer in proof-reading one's posts before submitting; however, even the most diligent posters can miss an error or perhaps have a change of mind about the content of a post, at which time the edit and delete features are useful. That you do not allow such is your choice. Your assumptive remark SHOULD have been directed to jb gude, not me. That poster complained about the editing and I merely concurred. However, even IF I were to make a typographical error, I would not ask you to correct it. As for your advice to "think before you submit" - wink . . . I have found a number of errors within your site, so perhaps following your own advice would be worth consideration. Wink.
