I don't know anything about the sound on this compilation compared to the "original" releases. However, if the sound is about the same this might be a nice compilation for the new fans out there. Not all of us have been collecting for 20 years and have everything :-)

I got rid of all my 12 singel cd's original volume.They are all cheap done.You can read remastred on cover?I don't see any use in it if you are an old collector.Maybe for newbies, but not a must have.

As TBG statement indicated, there are also new fans who are 'just aboard'. Many people enjoed the compilations when they were just starting off collecting. But new fans: beware now-a-days in just buying compilations on CD (much cheaper to produce). You are bound to double, no triple, no ...

For those of us who know just what WRL compilations like these are all about?.........simple copy and paste from all available imports then we know to leave well alone, for the fans who don't then compo's like this may well be a chance to get stuff that may be new to you.WRL have also just released a 3cd/1dvd Longbox called 'Xmas Crackers' and have already released volumes 1 to 4 of the Anthology set so expect volumes 9 to 12 to follow soon???.

Nothing wrong with this release. Good for the people who missed vol 5 until 8. And yes, all copies but we live in a time with copies. That "normal" today. The label who has released this as first made also an unofficial copie. So Wonderland.....go ahead !

Even "new" or "young" fans know this label ain't worth a pinch of poop!!! I got Pure Diamonds 4-CD set in 2007/08 and that was it for me. Idiot me actually thought there was something rare, not previously released before. No more & no thanks!!! But if some fans feel they need these releases by this label, then that's fine.
