Elvis Pantera On 'Rock Stars' Cars & Guitars' Exhibition

February 05, 2007 | Other
On june 9, the Henry Ford museum in Michigan, USA, will host the exhibition 'Rock Stars' Cars & Guitars' with a collection of 18 shiny cars, once belonged to the greatest artists of the planet. The 1971 De Tomaso Pantera from Elvis is one of the eye-catchers. The bullet-holes in the dashboard are still visible. Elvis shot them, because the car would not start.

Great; I remember having a friend who owned the same car once- DeTomaso Pantera- in an other color/black and white. Maybe built around 1975...but I took the chance and had him pick me up at the Christian School I was going to, and the nuns almost fainted......that`s the kind of stuff you need when you`re young though, I guess. And it is fun.

What a thing of beauty. A gorgeous looking car; and with bullet holes: awesome.
