That red cotton Shirt supposely from 1970 -72 is definately NOT Elvis'. I remember clearly this was the same shirt worn by one questionable character Paul Lichter. In that photo, he was showing off his hairy chest. ELVIS' red shirt have high collars and not frills. Buyers beware!

Good CD KING! It's time to stop all this garbage about auctioning Elvis. Should all those artifact are originals, Graceland would be a pale four empty walls. I remember watching a TV news where a manager of Sotheby's did state that "80% of all rock'n'roll memorabilia are fake". It seem that people are simply crazy and make believer. They all just want to convince themselves they hold a piece of Elvis. Sometimes I think that Elvis fans are quite stupid! Afetr all we already own "the best" of Elvis: HIS MUSIC! I'd just like to tell the fans to beware!! Unless there is PROOF that what the seller is selling REALLY belonged to Elvis....do not waste your money. Buy only from Elvis's family (NOT Donna Presley) or friends or sellers that have proof. At Graceland center, Mike McGregor's wife Barbara has MANY wonderful items for sale... good luck and TCB 24/7

I too, question this auction. It is my understanding, from a brochure printed by International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum, that Elvis did not choose for any of the photos that William Speer took of him with his shirt off to be printed. Speer took 12 photos, one of Vernon and Gladys, the rest are of Elvis, and in five of those he has his shirt off. It seems odd to me that there would be a shirtless photo signed by Elvis.....????
