How many more Books & Bucks can George make out of being Elvis best man for all of 5 minutes?

Why such negative comments towards George Klein? He was better placed than most to write a book. Have any of you snipers actually read it? It's not just about Elvis, there's lots of great stuff about George's career in TV and radio and his association with other artists too. And he's better qualified to write about the music as well. So many of the other 'friends' books hardly ever mention the music, and when they do they get it wrong.

The announcement simply said that George Klein's book (which was released in a hardbound edition) will be coming out in a paperback edition in January 2011. The fact that it's coming out in a paperback edition has nothing to do with GK.
Many books (the ones that are released in a hardbound edition first) usually end up being released in a paperback edition about a year or so after the original publication/release. It's been a common practice for many, many years.

From what I hear as he got older Charlie made a lot of stuff up. As for GK, the paperback is standard after hardback, I dont think this reflects on GK's financial situation or anthing like that.
