UK TV Station Channel 4 have nominated 2 Elvis films (Jailhouse Rock and Blue Hawaii) as contenders for The Top 100 Musicals of All Time. There will be a TV Special with the countdown and it is expected to get a lot of media coverage.

Nice to see Elvis nominated in this poll. I thought King Creole or Viva Las Vegas might of made it in but Jailhouse Rock and Blue Hawaii are probably best known to the general public that vote.

Agree with SGH. Great to see Elvis nominated but my personal vote would go to King Creole, unless TTWII stands as a musical! King Creole was so passionate with a keen and raw Elvis .... Wonderful stuff!
