Elvis Matters

September 09, 2004 | Other
The Dutch magazine that really matters arrived in our mailbox. The Belgian fanclub Elvis Matters again delivered a nice and very up-to-date (In Memoriam Al Dvorin) read. A huge report from the Memphis trip makes us looking forward to our own next trip. "Shorttracks" brings the "non Internet fans" the latest news. The 48 pages will consume quite some time and are decorated with nice pictures.

This is definitely a wonderful picture of Elvis surrounded around his fans.. I just purchased this picture recently, this is actually Elvis as photographed with his fans at TORONTO'S MAPLE LEAF GARDENS.. when he performed here. TCB

Hi, this is a wonderful Flemish fanclub (of which I'm a member), that is getting bigger and bigger, always striving to offer Elvis fans the kind of deluxe service they really derserve. In october 2004 they have a WORLD PREMIERE by introducing for the first (and last) time the complete TCB-Band live on stage (including Mr. John Wilkinson, Elvis rhythm guitarist in the 70s, who was always missing from Elvis: The Concert because of health and other reasons) in Belgium. Belgium LOVES Elvis, we have (no false pretense!) the best and most loyal Elvis fans in the world. Peter Verbruggen, its founder, is also the author of the acclaimed books "Elvis - King of Belgium" and "Memories" about John Wilkinson. He is by the way a dear friend of Mr. Wilkinson, the two of them together wrote this book.
