R & R Auctions is offering the screen worn jacket that Elvis wore in the movie "Loving You" in its October auction. The auction closes at midnight on Wednesday October 16th and is on-line now for bids.
The screen worn denim jacket from the 1957 film Loving You. Denim jacket is made by Levi Strauss has a sewn in label in the inside reading 'number 101212 E. Presley 1/57,' a Paramount Studios wardrobe stamp and even a Paramount studios red laundry tag. Elvis can be seen in this jacket in many scenes in the film, including the dance sequence Got a Lot O' Livin' To Do. In fine condition, with some fraying to inside of collar. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Concerts West Inc.'s Tom Hulett, who promoted Presley's tours from 1971-77, two photos of Elvis in the jacket, an article about the film, and a VHS tape of the newly released and remastered Loving You, whose case shows a scene from the film of Elvis wearing this jacket.
