Elvis In The Army Sculpture

December 17, 2009 | Other

KnuckleBonz has created a new Rock Iconz® limited edition rock-n-roll collectible featuring none other but rock’s original icon: Elvis Presley. The “Elvis in the Army” Rock Iconz statue features Presley during his two year enlistment in the US armed forces. The figure depicts rock-n-roll’s original legend in his army fatigues complete with the third armored core patch.

"We wanted to give Elvis fans something unique with this first statue. It is interesting to think where Elvis was in his life and career going from the world’s first rock star to a PFC in the US Army." Only 3000 figures are available, each limited edition statue is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Junk! Another way to make $ off the King's memory. Are there really 3000 misguided souls that will but this. If so heh, heh, there will be another one coming to a location near you.

So that's what happened to the unused G.I. Joe's (Action Man in the U.K.). Put a model Guitar, (one that Elvis would never have used ,or wasn't made in Elvis's lifetime) in it's hands & rip the fans off for more Bucks by telling them it's Elvis.

I think they mixed this up with Cliff Richards's action figure..

Why is it that these sort of things never even remotely resemble Elvis, facially. Is it such a hard thing to achieve ? (Obviously, yes!)
