2 decent shows from this tour- with the a/s brand new in soundboard sound quality. a nice representation of this tour and Elvis in pleasing form-most likely his absolute BEST A/S this entire tour!~ thanks FTD look forward to these and i like the front cover art-work-nice!~

I don't care too much about the bootlegged evening show, but it's good to have a new SB featuring the afternoon gig. Still makes a good double set. Hope there will be more FTD projects form this tour coming up. Why now have they included Sean Nielsen's performances of Danny Boy ? Weren't they omitted for legal reasons in previous releases ? Still I can only skip it. At least the line-up on both shows is more stronger than on 'West Texas'. Looking forward to hearing One Night, Polk Salad... and That's Alright from the matinee show. Cisco: without giving too much away is it worth looking forward to ?

I hope he sounds better on disc 1 because he normally sounds pretty sluggish and off key in the afternoon shows (eg. Fort Worth) as a rule.

i read a Dec 6th release date~! and yes show is a good one the A/S-best A/S this particular tour.well done Dr Nick! Yeah i was extremely surprized by Danny Boy even being included considering on the 13/12/75 Dinner Show we had Kathy's solo deliberately 'edited out'!~ maybe a change of policy and a few cents for the Neilson estate to be paid?- unless they were contacted and waivered any fee?

With the beginning of September the shows began to improve...Elvis found the way back on the right track..the set lists became more varied and these 2 shows are good examples...and it is the last time we had a pair of shows on one day...and in all honesty in this case the AS was even better than the ES..usually it was the other way round. The AS is new on silver disc. I like this idea.

No big deal, but why isn't 2001 theme is not included in either show. While I can't comment re the A/S, it was definitely recorded that evening on the "Still Rockin" bootleg. FTD also omitted the 2001 theme from the show on their "3000 South Paradise Road" release. A very half hearted approach here. Thanks heaps YDKM & Cisco, now I'm looking forward even more to its arrival.

You dont know what the bootleggers did. They probably added any 2001 Theme. When FTD has it on the SB tape..why not releasing it..?
