In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of Elvis' death Pobjoy Mint is to reissue the 1996 Gibraltarian one-crown honouring the King of rock'n'roll. The coin will be legal tender on the Rock and struck in nickel, sterling silver and gold versions, with prices for the three issues ranging from L 9.95 to L149.95 (for the limited edition gold run of 5000 copies). Each of the tokens will come in a special presentation case with certification of authenticity, and it's unlikely that many will find their way into general circulation in the British colony.
