HarperCollins Children's Books just released a book based on Elvis' 1971 version of the song "The First Noel", a beautiful recording, which became a Christmas Classic since, according to the publisher. In our opinion it was already a Christmas classic, but at least Elvis gets some credits, and indeed it is a beautiful recording. The publisher also told us, "Inside are breathtaking paintings by artist Bruce Whatley that capture the solemnity and joy of the first Christmas, and included with the book is a CD of “The King's” timeless recording."
