The book "Elvis By Candlelight" by Mary Lou Anderson was released quietly a few months ago. The author, who came up with the idea for the candlelight vigil, tells her and other fan's stories in regard to the vigil. According to the review in the latest ElvisMatters magazine the quality of the book is very poorly.

I can't comment on the book since I haven't seen it, but it is a shame the quality is supposedly poor. I would rather read a book by a fan than most of the stuff out there. It takes money which this woman probably doesn't have to produce a good book. That must be the issue or we would have heard about it before. Books about Elvis just don't come out "quietly" unless there isn't sufficient backing - money! I hope I can find it somewhere & give it a try. Any person credited with coming up with the vigil idea has to produce a credible book, something we hardly ever see.
