Former Elvis photographer Ed Bonja is in University Medical Center in Las Vegas after suffering a heart attack. More information when we have it.
Ed Bonja's pictures are some of the most famous images of Elvis ever produced. While his photographs can be found on nearly all of Elvis’ LP covers in the seventies and in every Elvis book.
Ed Bonja worked for Colonel Parker throughout the seventies but was part of the Elvis family since his childhood.

hello. i ve been in regular contact with ed since he checked into the hospital. i visited him yesterday and talked with him on the phone also. his double bypass surgery is monday. he is looking forward to it, to feel better and get on the path to recovery. when i have more news, i ll post here. ed has told me he appreciates all good thoughts coming his way.

Wishing you a very speedy recovery Ed for what is now a positive operation. My Father had a quadruple a couple of years back and is now back in his youth! May you have as speedy and healthy recovery as him. Take good care.
