I, too, love the idea of the original poster artwork on the cover.

Superb News - I just can't wait for their DVD release. I have always loved and enjoyed the Elvis Presley movies. Especially looking forward to IT HAPPENED AT THE WORLD'S FAIR & SPEEDWAY. These are two of His better movies!

Oh yes, where is THIS IS ELVIS? - I thought this was amongst the batch.

It will be really great if they also put GIRL HAPPY, STAY AWAY JOE, KISSIN COUSINS, CHARRO, TICKLE ME & ELVIS ON TOUR on DVD too. Then, the Elvis List of 33 films will be complete. Stay Away Joe is a very good movie also.

Great to add these films to my DVD collection. I just hope they are released in their respective original aspect screen ratio. And like gpl I too like the original poster on the front cover. Much better then the Kid Galahad one, which was more like a rehash of the (already awful) VHS release. Now how about "Kissin' Cousins" and the much underrated "Stay Away Joe". And of course the aforementioned "This Is Elvis". Come on Warner. We're waiting.

This sounds great! They are right, I think there's a huge market for these DVD's...as there is for Eagles' Hell Freezes Over and Roy Orbison's Black And White Night. Those DVD's are big sellers for years now. Anyway it's a pitty that we have to wait 'till july 5th instead of june 22...but better a good release, with promotion!

The comment was for the 68 and aloha stuff, but these DVD's are welcomed too!

I love the idea to have the original poster as the frontcover! Now it seems that someone think the same way! GREAT!

I would love to see them take maybe four elvis movies. one of them speedway and take just elvis out of the screen and put him in todays scene just like the movie Steve Martin made in 1980 called Dead Men dont wear plaid. rememeber this one. Elvis made 33 movies. they have alot of Elvis on film to work with. maybe Jim Carrey could star in it and it could be ELVIS and Jim Carrey starring in a movie together. Jim Carrey could be a Journalist that goes back in time to interview Elvis. they could take Elvis out of the films from his movies and tie them into the scenes. the technology is there. This idea would work and be successful because its hardly ever been done and maybe tie a new Elvis remix into it. Like maybe Let Yourself Go from Speedway with Jim Carrey put in the video with Elvis. How many of you would go see this movie??
