The Mammoth label will release the DVD entitled ''The Sun King'' containing footage from the May 1977 tour. Much of the footage on this released has circulated through the years but always in bad quality with washed out colors. For the first time, these will be available from an original source with full color and original Super 8mm films sound according to the information available. This DVD will be NTSC and regions free.

Synopsis:
Restored and revitalized: a new look at Presley, the SUN King. Elvis Presley, wearing his "Mexican Sundial" jumpsuit, was nothing but a road warrior in his final year, giving more than 50 shows in five months. The Sundial suit is my least favorite Elvis tour period. He seemd to wear it constantly in 1977 and some of the most unflattering photos I have ever seen have been in this suit. I will only buy 1 product with this suit and that is the CBS TV Special if it is ever officially released because it is part of his TV legacy. The Elvis In Concert LP from that special didnt even have the sundial siut on the LP cover. Nuff said!
