Because people buying Elvis DVDs (like myself who is still in the process of re-buying all I have on VHS) are more likely to by the Double Feature than one at a time. It's not that difficult, and it might give new fans a new opportunity to check out some of Elvis' stuff! That's why!

These have already been released in a box set. Paramount released Lights! Camera! Elvis Collection, this year. It also included several other movies. So my question is also, why?

MGM/TURNER: If you don't want to fan-fare a DVD release of 'Elvis on Tour' could you hide it behind a double feature with TTWII and we won't tell anybody!

Why? Because not everybody wants or can afford box sets. I have no problem with the release of these double features. Makes good business sense to me. Great for the casual fan.

wooo hooo i hope they do that with all of them. and you people complaining about it heres a message to you- get over it your not the only elvis fans in this world. some people cant afford to pay 25-60 bucks for a dvd 2 in for the price of one you cnat beat it many people will buy it and many new fans will come out of it. quit being so selfish and cynical. you are all whats wrong with the way epe is run today

Probably released also, because they know that there are a number of suckers out there who will buy them AGAIN just for the different covers! It's been the same with Xmas CD compilations over the years - a "new" one every year but with the same 20 tracks in a different playing order! SOME fans will keep buying the same material in different packaging forever for whatever reason.
